Observation details
Parked at paid parking lot across from the Library. At the corner crosswalk I saw the owl sleeping on a branch of the mesquite tree. Didn't even have to get close. A vehicle parked underneath alarm went off for 20 seconds and it woke the owl, he preened for 15 seconds and went back to sleep. See picture.
