Observation details

Photos. Seen flying, hovering, and perched where we were able to obtain photos at a distance. White face with black at the eyes, white breast with thin black streaks, brownish belly band with mottled white mixed in, yellow feet, a large white upper tail, brownish black sub terminal tail band, and a very thin white terminal tail band that was hard to see. In flight, the most prominent thing about the bird was a large patch of white on the upper tail that really stood out. We enjoyed watching it hover several times. We think this bird is an adult female light morph.
