Observation details

Great find by Jamie Buchanan. Bold eyebrow, flecking of gold to dark cap. Appears to be juvenile plumage. Smallish bill and no black to axillaries as in Black-bellied. Spent most time on edge of lake. Two short flights and walked across the road. Why did the American Golden-Plover cross the road? I guess to get to the soccer field where Jamie originally found it hanging with Killdeer. Last 3 photos by Lucas.
