Observation details

Primaries molt P1-P3 dropped, P4 - P10 remaining. I mistrust Merlin (used with eBird) as it appears to overuse the date of occurrence rather than the actual image. Still, with this bird even submitting with the date arbitrarily set to September it still returns a Black-chinned. So, maybe it really is. (Note: photographic conditions were not good and I did not get any good shots with the birds full bill in order to measure its length nor any good views of its outer primaries).
