Observation details
Found by Ashlee and Ryan Duff during Caribou/Limestone Christmas Bird count. We weren't far away and ran down to the see it. This was the first shorebird of any species recorded on a CBC in northern Maine. First winter record of Wilson's Snipe north of Old Town area and away from the coast. Feeding in small ice free rivulet and surrounded by foot-deep snow. Appeared healthy. Photos.
