Observation details

Continuing. Dirty white bird with dark, streaked back and a dark patches on cheek and chest. Bold white in wing. Photos. First spotted by a pile of logs just into vegetattion up from the beach. Flew low to ground. Later seen flying 150 feet high giving call reminescent of Sprague's Pipit. Landed near edge and stayed down long enough for Tom Mullen to get some photos. Later walked out from vegetation all the way down to the shoreline, feeding as it went.
