Observation details
Striking face with wide yellow stripes bordering a black/dark green cheek patch and yellow patch under the eye. Top of head was olive green blending into darker borders near the yellow stripe, suggesting female. Back was olive green with fine black streaking. Dark charcoal grey wings with two prominent white wing bars. Indistinct black necklace, lighter yellow below necklace fading into white on belly and under tail covert, dark striping on flanks. Thin, sharp bill. White on outer edges of tail feathers. Seen feeding in cedars, although I could not determine if it was feeding on berries or insects. Associating with the two Orioles - if the Orioles moved to a different tree, the Townsend's Warbler would soon follow.
