Both flushed incidentally at very close range in the early morning from separate spots in the southern third of the dense young pines (10-15 yr?) planted west of the main field. Football shaped body, very long bill, wing whistle heard for both, bad audio recorded for one. Bulkier bodied than - and did not give the familiar flush call of - Wilson's Snipe
