Observation details
As I was about to leave in the snow, a SEOW was seen flying over the north end of the pond marsh system, diving , roosting briefly and finally a very close flyby before it disappeared. The Wakefields showed up in time to see it. Dipping and lazily flying. Beautiful circular facial disk. The photogrphy conditions were poor with the snow falling increasingly harder . The Wakefields from Lincoln area just happened to stop by and they got to see the close flyby , as the bird flew past us and off into the hinterlands and we saw it no more. Great way to end the day!
