Observation details
Alert by Jared Clarke. Thanks! Ongoing adult first found in October and only seen a few times since then. Relatively in close at west end. Smaller than most nearby gulls. Similar size and structure to a nearby juv LBBG but with more rounded head. Primaries similarly long. Mantle obviously darker than any Herring but still a shade or two paler than the palest LBBG. Dark eye, tricolored bill. Large apical spots. Flapped its wings a few times revealing extensive black in the primaries. Hopefully it continues to be a regular hear!
