Observation details

Feeders were active but then not a single bird. A minute or two later at 0950 an immature Cooper’s Hawk streaked by, over the deck, and around the corner to the east end of the house where it perched and called from our wild Mulberry tree. After a few minutes it flew southeast to trees between our subdivision and the street behind. I was able to grab my camera and get some pictures through our side garage door, plus record its voice with my phone.
