Observation details
The bird was observed actively foraging, making short, rapid flights between branches. Initial field impression suggested Orange-crowned Warbler, but photographic review raised doubts. The image was submitted to the Facebook group ‘What Is This Bird?’ for confirmation. Multiple identifiers concluded the bird was a female Black-throated Blue Warbler, noting its drab yellow-olive plumage and distinctly pale supercilium—consistent with females of the species. 33.965897544916835, -117.67709268391916
