Observation details
Dunlins from the same same. Comparatively darker, stockier overall. Bib is more distinct and unbroken unlike the Curlew Sandpiper. Bills is mostly straight until the end where it drops abruptly, while the Curlew Sandpiper in the other picture is consistently curved. The first picture shows the Dunlin's mouth open like the Curlew Sandpiper's where you can see the bill is much thicker.
