Observation details
Continuing. Found by an SDSU wayfarer and reported I think on Facebook, but then refound and reported by Nick Barber on the 10th. Male. Refound this morning by Nick, et al. after I took a stroll to search for it elsewhere nearby after 1.5 hrs of no luck. First respotted today at the NE corner of theater building (32.77533, -117.07229). It moved west around the building to a back loading bay area, a level up. From that porch covered loading bay around back we lost track of it. It was very active, always on the move, foraging. Nick had suggested it was gleaning insects from the building walls the day before, and sure enough it was supplementing its diet with mostly spiders from building fixtures, walls, and overhangs. It must be hungry, not enough bugs in the shrubbery. Ph.
