Observation details

Heard a rail coming around the second corner past the barking dogs approaching the culvert. On the left side of the trail. After about ten minutes a small rail with a long slightly curved orangish bill, with streaked back and sides. Darker cap on head with streaks that continues down back. Brownish red patch on lower flank towards end of primaries. Flushed when someone walked by and asked some questions. After another 5-10 minutes he came back out. Then second rail vocalized behind me on other side of trail in open water just on other side of culvert, also feeding. Video and audio of calls plus pics.
