Observation details

MF breeding pair. Male Heard by crowd of approximately 30 birders at its usual nesting hole. Started calling at 8:13 and called repeatedly for 3 minutes straight. Female Began chirping for a minute at 8:22. Female emerged from nest hole at 8:24. Quiet, “wop-wop-wop-wop” call came from the general area around the telephone poll with the transformer at 26.18364° N, 98.37956° W.
