Observation details
Charming little bird "nuthatching" along thin branches near upper story. It was quite active and disappeared out of view multiple times, but generally stayed high. We could see the tell-tale arrowhead-shaped spots on the undertail coverts, the zebra stripes along the sides, the bold white supercilium, and the slightly curved beak. It was loosely associating with a mixed flock that included chickadees, dark-eyed juncos, and house finches. Excellent continuing bird (day #2) found by Holden Green! Thanks Holden. Great spot. Super happy to see this very late warbler.
