Observation details

Roughly the same location as reported earlier this month. Streamside in the conifer grove at approximately 0.75 miles. Made a brief appearance but mostly stayed in the thickest of brambles and fallen limbs and debris above the streambed. Rusty dark brown wren with white spotted edges to primaries, some dark barring on secondaries, and limited additional patterning except bold supercillium above and behind eye. Slightly lighter underside but still fairly uniform coloring from chin to vent with little patterning except on flanks above legs. Tail similar rusty dark brown with chocolate to black barring. Responded aggressively to pishing with high pitched, staccato "tik" call notes, mostly doubled but some tripled. Second note slightly lower than the first. Calls confirmed as PAWR by Merlin. Audio and maybe 1 or 2 poor photos.
