Observation details

WL. Photo'd. I poorly photographed a female/imm in the mixed flock that was happening about the same time we had good looks at White-throated Laughingthrushes. Photo resembles this one in ML: https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/611896239. Flycatcher build, flycatcher bill, uneven whitish eyering that is bolder distally, long continuous lower wingbar, broken upper wingbar, long buff edging to tertials, and contrasting shafts in tail feathers. But the clincher for me is the little bit of chestnut that peeks out from the rump in my photo. We would get good looks at a male later in the day!
