Observation details

Continuing, first reported by Mr. Simon. (34.7696009, -118.7425645) “Cuter” than nearby goldeneyes and its white crescent between eye and bill was also distinguishable. A purplish/blue sheen was visible on its head with the right angle of sunlight. Finally, a dark spur on shoulder pointing towards the water was also noticeable.
