Observation details
I drove to the JHS APL today and parked in the credit union parking lot across from the pond to see if I could spot the Ross's Goose that had been reported. Imagine my surprise when I found 5 of them! One of the birds was in was in juvenile plumage, and was later ID’d as a SNGO. Small white geese, short necks, short stubby bills, no grin patch, black wing tips. Please see my photos.
