Observation details
Exact count from photos. Flying in a large flock mixed with Snow Geese. Came close enough to positively ID based on size compared to Snow Geese, stubby proportions, and small pink bill. Very impressive numbers making up a significant portion of the flock. They have been flying between ponds on private farms in the area for several days.
