Observation details
** rare, very unexpected. Initially located by distinctive chip call, a very dull immature (?) type with uniform dull yellow brown overall, thin white eye ring. Gave gave a single buzzy zeep flight call. Not considering the theoretical possibility of Mangrove Yellow Warbler as it is a coastal and habitat dependent species, however technically probably impossible to rule out. Photos and audio tba EDIT 12/10/25: It was suggested that it may be worthwhile to consider Mangrove Yellow Warbler. Not entirely sure if there are any reliable field marks; certainly the call is a bit strange and there are similar Mangrove Yellow Warbler calls from MX
