Observation details

Ross's Geese were at times close to the pair of Snow Geese. The size difference was very noticeable. The Ross's had small bills, lacked the black smile, and the small, black eye was positioned in such a way to give the appearance of a doll. It was an easy call especially with the Snow Geese in the same scope view. All four white geese had black wing tips but could only be seen occasionally as they were not in flight.
