Observation details
Found today by Heidi George. Sea duck pair in winter plumage, possibly first year birds. Actively diving / feeding together near shore. Short, gray bills with black tips. Mostly white face with dark smudge below ear, dark breast and white underneath. Dark crown & looks like maybe in molt with dark backs and wings. Long tails not seen on male.
