Observation details

Yellow shafted, beautiful mustard color underbody in flight. I was shocked to see this many all together this time of the year. They were foraging along the ground in the field to the east of the entrance road. Lots of open dirt patches created from the machines used from clearing brush. One group of five hanging out together with three others scattered throughout the field and heard others. Definitely an undercount. Watched one fly right up to a Northern Shrike in a tree and monitor him until the Shrike left the area. Watched them for about 15 minutes until they were flushed by what I believe was a Sharpie I've seen there the last two trips but couldn't properly ID (saw too quickly between trees).
