I heard a sharp call I didn't recognize. Merlin said is was a Solitary Sandpiper. What?!? But there it was, in the top of a small-medium tall spruce tree.

At the bog/marsh, I heard a sharp call I didn't recognize. It was a Solitary Sandpiper standing in the top of a small/medium-sized spruce tree!
