Observation details
Difficult bird … I am not certain it is not a Blyth’s. It is the same bird that we suspected was a eastern olivaceous and then ruled as a reed warbler. It seems to be stationary in the same area at the southern tip of the park. It responds to Blyth’s song by coming close but quiet and then retreat from the area (tested three times). When playing the call it responds with a call. I have not been able to record the call but have more photos from today. Also the behavior is unlike reed, but typical of wintering Blyth’s eg in India: it is foraging in mid level higher trees.
