Observation details

Came back to the upper clearing at the same time as last night to refind the owl, this time with a flashlight. As soon as we walked up the hill, we heard it singing and saw it silhouetted against the cloudy night sky. We got good views of it before it flew across the clearing and began singing again. This time we were able to see the rufous coloration nicely! Really great experience with it!
