Observation details
Found earlier today by Lisa Szuch; pointed out to me by Steve Tucker. In and around a private yard in the southwest corner of the cemetery, usually in association with white-crowned and golden-crowned sparrows. Skittish at first, frequently fleeing into cover with other sparrows. Later a bit more accommodating. It perched in some shrubs and an oak tree and then on a fence. Large, strongly marked Zonotrichia with buffy face, pink-orange bill, and black chest spots.
