Media notes
Habitat view of where Dark-eyed Juncos (black arrow) foraging on leaf-covered lawn and soil exposed by an off-pavement snow plow just north of the former dog park.
Observation details
Two were in vegetation at the south dog park fence, and the rest were in flocks of two to 11 juncos scattered along the plowed paths. The juncos were most common on areas were plows had strayed from the pavement, exposing soil, turf, and dead leaves.
