Likely Canadian geese, but as shown in the additional photos showing the birds swimming alongside mallards, on the spot visually the geese seemed smaller than expected, nearly the same size as the ducks and with relatively small bills. Unfortunately, the birds were not close enough for better photos. So, these may have been Cackling Geese, not Canadian Geese.
