Observation details
Two skulking individuals observed in flooded marsh south of where the road crosses the inlet on the inlet size. Seen several times in flattened patch of vegetation over the course of around 20 minutes. Immediately noticed distinctive streaking pattern on flanks, almost reminiscent of a savannah sparrow, as well as sharp contrast between pale throat and orange face, ruling out Nelson's. Overall long-billed appearance
