NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 2. Bulk reel: 236Weather: Fair.a) 7:00 AM. A "song sequence." (Bird attracted from 300 m. away by playback.) Many birds heard in background including Saltator coerulescens, an unidentified small flycatcher, an unidentified Myiarchus, apparently Todirostrum cinereum, Taraba major. Quality: 2. Level: 5.b) 7:20 AM. A complete song sequence with no background sounds to speak of (but plenty print-through). The bird was brought in by playback of Cut 2a).c) 8:30 AM. The bird followed me around once he knew "I gave his song" and even made other recording difficult. This is a song session without further playback. (Print-through). Quality: "1." Level: 3.5. Sound stimulation was (other): playback. Response to playback: Approach.
