Observation details

Lake Ella has a large population of feral Domestic Muscovy Ducks (Cairina moschata) and Domestic Mallard Ducks (Anas platyrhynchos) so it's not impossible for the two groups to breed together and create hybrids. It is, however, more likely that this one escaped from captivity.
