Observation details

Continuing bird at McDonald Pond, keeping mostly to itself away from the geese, swans, and Mallards. Molting individual with rich rufous coloration all over the head and flanks, seemingly most consistent with a young or eclipse drake but not entirely sure that a bright hen can be fully ruled out
