Observation details

Gasing up at pinpoint, heard unfamiliar call, at first thought mocker. Then, heard it louder, repetitive, single screech, until finally, what appeared to be a long and thin-tailed pale bird the shape of dove or cuckoo, flew over only to land on a powerline. Poor bird, paced back on forth, confused on the wire. Don't know if it will make it.
