Observation details

First picked up at about 4:18 from the West Bank observation point preening alone about .8 miles out at about 34.1632830, -84.0562356.Nonbreeding adult type with very white face and neck. Small, slim, and slender loon, snakelike neck and small head with small thin bill always tipped up when neck and head held erect. Thin bill sometimes almost seems to disappear at the distance.
