Observation details

First winter bird. Large sparrow; overall brown above and white below. Pinkish orange bill, legs and feet. Belly unstreaked and No central spot; white; limited brown streaks on the flanks. White throat and a spotty black "V" on the breast. Brown face with a "salt and pepper"/white and black crown. Tertials and greater coverts have dark centers and white edges. Photos on fence at NE corner of fence around the cemetery but viewed from the dirt alley behind the houses on Patterson at the point where it is blocked by boulders.
