Observation details
The bird was roughly the size of a Hairy Woodpecker and was with both a Hairy and a Downy Woodpecker along with the other small forest songbirds. One close look at about 20 meters before it flew further away and poor photos taken, at which point it flew off further away. Head was mostly red except for the back of the head. Breast red. Two poor quality photos added.
