Observation details

Heard some calls from the previously reported area that the WTSP was found (28.07230, -82.83143). Merlin ID'd the three sharp "chink" calls as the WTSP. After further review of the calls compared to other calls from birds in the area such as the Song Sparrow, I concluded these calls were from the WTSP. Big thanks to Cuneyt for cleaning up the recording by eliminating some of the background noise. Note: This is not a new sighting. I recorded these calls later the same day the bird was found on the morning of 12/4. Another Note: I found when I use Merlin to ID this recording by location the WTSP doesn't show up but if you put airplane mode on your phone to mask the location the WTSP comes up as a positive ID.
