Observation details

*Rare migrant. Second eBird record for Dawson Co. Robust warbler, strong pale supercilium, streaky underside, yellow undertail coverts. Later I got photos and video - and was able to spot two PAWA simultaneously - as they foliage-gleaned on Cornus sericea in particular and other shrubs in the forest understory with a mixed flock dominated by MYWA, OCWA, and BCCH, at times giving good views but moving frequently and flushing with nearly every passing truck on the nearby highway. I left that flock still foraging and encountered another PAWA with another mixed foraging flock 300 m downstream.
