Observation details
Adult male (actively feeding) seen distantly in binos, roughly NW of Liberty Island. Only able to confirm ID once returning home and looking at poor record shots on PC. I didn't include it on the list at the time, as it was flagging as rare on eBird and I didn't want to start a wild goose (in this case duck) chase.
