Observation details
The bird landed on a bare tree with its back to me and backlit by the sun. Could not tell what species at first. The bird then turned to face me and I was able to get a couple of front photos before it turned again. Hopefully the bird is okay as it appeared to lose it's grip on the branch and hung upside down flapping its wings for a few seconds before righting itself and was fluffed out/hunched up. Only stayed for approx a minute before flying off heading towards lower Gibsons and/or Keats Island, did not see again.
