Observation details
Continuing bird. Foraging in the field north of Wenzel Slough Road and northeast of Keys Road. It did not seem to be bothered by observers along the road, though it did look up and around at times. More inconspicuous than I thought it would be, I likely drove past it when I first got to the area. It would have been better to stop and scan with my scope. Slightly larger than Sandhill it was foraging with, black mask and neck was obvious, not easily confused with other bird species. About 15 other birders present when I was there.
