Observation details

Originally reported as Long Tailed Duck, as I was aware of two reports yesterday (12/5). Then identified as Ross Goose with photo-id assist from Merlin which suggested Ross and Snow Goose. Bill shape led to id as Ross, despite problematic color. Finally, (12/7) Gerry Hawkins helped me identify this as the Ross x Cackling hybrid. (The automatic species check suggested Cackling Goose for images 3, 4, and 9, and Hooded Merganser for image 5 when I identified the bird as ROGO).
