Observation details
Beginning to think that this is a leucistic herring gull. Slightly smaller than an American herring gull. Creamy-white all over with bright white wingtips. Medium-sized black bill with some pink mixed in. Guessing a second year; perhaps could be a molting iceland. In a flock of gulls in the huge group of cormorants and pelicans off the end of the pier. Photos taken. I have more photos if needed.
