Observation details
Photos badly distorted by heat haze, and sometimes also due to distance. Viewed by 2 people with bins and scope. Stood out from AUTE. Finer more elegant bird than adjacent AUTE. White just behind the eye, no markings on cap. Wide band of white from bill to eye area (AUTE has dark smudging nearly to bill in all plumages). Bill straighter, without drooping appearance at tip.
