Observation details

*Very rare, continuing bird along the first stretch of wildlife drive - one of several in the northeast in the last week or two. With semipalmated sandpipers near shore, right near the tower at GM6. Flew north towards the visitor center after a few minutes, followed it in binoculars by its big white rump until it hooked around the phrags and disappeared from view. Life bird!
