Observation details
Eight scaup with round heads. Did not see any peaky heads of the Lesser scaup. In the shots where they were looking my way, they showed puffy cheeks. I did not get to see them fly. They were closer to shore than the giant raft of ducks that I believe were mostly Lesser scaup. See pics.
